Durham, North Carolina jazz vocalist Nnenna Freelon talks about the release of her latest CD, Homefree on Tuesday, April 20. It’s the 11th recording for the six-time GRAMMY® Award-nominee, whose voice has been heard everywhere from the White House to the hit TV series Mad Men. For this CD, Freelon brought her touring band to North Carolina and recorded at Sound Pure Studio in downtown Durham.
