Authentic North Carolina craft items make unique gifts that reflect the artist. Throughout the holiday season, you’ll find select opportunities to meet artists up close and in person, learn about them and discuss how they make unique works in clay, fiber, glass, leather, metal, mixed media, natural materials, paper, wood and jewelry. Open studio tours are invitations to visit hundreds of working artist studios for conversation, socializing and sales.
Here are some of the major festivals and open studio tours taking place now through the end of the holiday season. You’ll find many others throughout the year and across the state — see a complete list here.
