
The Caldwell Arts Council’s 27th annual Sculpture Celebration takes place at T.H. Broyhill Walking Park in Lenoir, Saturday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to a competition and judging of the works, music will be provided by the Silvio Martinat Swing band from 10 a.m. to noon, and Centerpiece Jazz from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. An awards presentation takes place at 3:30 p.m., followed by a walking tour of winners by competition judge Gerald Bolas. A Blue Jeans Preview Party, Friday, Sept. 7 will feature a casual dinner and live music by acoustic guitarist Jimmy Griffith.
