Established in 1992, the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, designed by renowned architect Cesar Pelli is the largest cultural arts presenter in the state, serving as home to the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Opera Carolina, North Carolina Dance Theatre, On Q Productions, Queen City Theatre Company, Community School of the Arts and The Light Factory Contemporary Museum of Photography and Film. Blumenthal Performing Arts presents the Duke Energy Broadway Lights Series, which features national touring Broadway productions and other special attractions. Its education department develops innovative partnerships with schools and community organizations throughout the region.
The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center’s fall season includes Jekyll & Hyde, in a limited run before its return to Broadway, now through Sunday, Nov. 11.
