Local arts councils play an important role in communities across the state, connecting the public with area artists and arts events. In addition to selling crafts made by artists throughout the year in their galleries and gift shops, many arts councils sponsor annual sales where these works can be purchased as holiday gifts. Below are just a few of the offerings coming up this holiday season. For a list of local arts councils visit: http://search.ncarts.org/localarts_search.php
